Community Grants Scheme

Our Community Grant Scheme is available to constituted not-for-profit organisations, local authorities, and Environmental Bodies (EBs). Grants of between £10,000 and £75,000 are available to create or improve buildings or outside spaces for the benefit of the community.

Whitemoss Community Grants Scheme

Our Whitemoss Community Grant Scheme is available to constituted not-for-profit organisations, local authorities, and Environmental Bodies (EBs) located within 10 miles of the Veolia Whitemoss Landfill Site. Grants of between £5,000 and £75,000 are available to create or improve buildings or outside spaces for the benefit of the community.

Habitat and Biodiversity Grants Scheme

We fund improvements to or the creation of natural habitats and our vision is for a healthy environment where native species can thrive. This scheme is available to constituted not-for-profit organisations, local authorities and Environmental Bodies (EBs). The minimum grant request we can consider is £10,000.

Please note, that whilst the project sites can be accessible to the public, these projects, including the elements you ask us to fund, should not be for community purposes.

Land Purchases

We fund the purchase of natural habitats in support of our vision for a healthy environment where native species can thrive. This scheme is available to registered charities, and local authorities. We can consider funding requests between £100,000 and £500,000.
