When might the Veolia Environmental Trust share my personal information?

The personal information we ask you to provide as part of our application and grant-making process will mainly be used by Trust staff to support you on your funding journey. We will never sell or share information with any other organisation so they can contact you for marketing activities.

In some circumstances we may share your personal information for legitimate reasons. For example, we may be required to share your personal information with our regulator ENTRUST, so they can conduct an audit and ensure compliance with the Landfill Tax Regulations.

Please read our Privacy Policy for further details of who else we may share your details with and how we will protect your information.

What are my responsibilities as an Applicant / Grant Beneficiary?

If you share someone else’s personal information with us, you need to let them know and give them a copy of the ‘Sharing Personal Data’ statement (in the green box below) to ensure you comply with data protection laws in the UK

This may happen when you provide us with quotes from contractors/suppliers, letters of support from your community and copies of legal documents, such as a property lease. This list is not exhaustive and we recommend you review all documents, to check if they include names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses, before you share them with us.
